Gaza – For the second night running the Israeli airforce continued to target Palestinian homes in Gaza Strip towns. Three homes and a workshop were destroyed on Thursday night in four separate air raids.
The air raids also resulted in a number of casualties amongst the Palestinian civilian population as well as material damage to houses close to the targeted houses.
In Beit Lahya in the northern Gaza Strip Israeli warplanes bombed the home of Nasim al-Ajeenah a Qassam commander and destroyed the house completely. Medical sources reported two casualties as a result of the attack.
Earlier Israeli warplanes bombed a home belonging to Sami Abu Salim commander of the executive force in the Rafah district in Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip. The attack resulted in four casualties including children. The house was completely destroyed. The attack came a short while after a phone call warning the residents in the house that it was going to be bombed.
Apache helicopters fired on Thursday night at least one rocket at house of Ibrahim Dahman a commander of the Naser Salahuddin Brigades in the Jabalya refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip causing damage to a store next to the house and a neighboring house.
Israeli warplanes bombed on Wednesday and Thursday nights a number of homes belonging to resistance fighters from the Qassam Brigades the Quds Brigades and the Aqsa Martyrs Brigades in various parts of the Gaza Strip.
