Three Palestinians injured by IOF gunfire in Qusra town

Saturday 3-July-2021

Three Palestinian young men on Saturday evening suffered bullet injuries one seriously during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in the southern area of Qusra town south of Nablus.

According to local official Ghassan Daghlas the clashes happened after a horde of Jewish settlers stormed the area and embarked on attacking Palestinian homes.

A young man in his 20s identified as Mohamed Fareed was reportedly injured by IOF gunfire during his presence on the rooftop of his house. His bullet injury was described as “serious.”

He was transferred aboard an ambulance to a hospital in the 1948 occupied territory.

Two young men were also badly injured in their legs and many others suffered from their exposure to tear gas during the clashes with the IOF.

Local sources said that a number of Qusra youths tried to fend off the settlers who attacked homes near Fareed’s house before Israeli forces intervened and provided protection for the settlers.
