Three Palestinians injured by Israeli gunfire in Ramallah and Jenin

Two Palestinian young men on Monday suffered bullet injuries during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in al-Mazra’a al-Qibliya village northwest of Ramallah.

According to local sources a 19-year-old teenager was seriously injured by a live bullet in his back and another one aged 17 was injured by a rubber bullet in his hand during the events.

The wounded young men were both rushed to a West Bank hospital for medical assistance.

The sources said that the IOF stormed the village and showered local residents and youths with a hail of tear gas grenades adding that soldiers also fired live and rubber bullets during the clashes.

In a separate incident a Palestinian young man on the same day was injured when Israeli soldiers opened fire at him and then assaulted him near the separation wall in Anin village west of Jenin.

Local sources said that soldiers opened fire at a young man from Silat al-Harithiya village in Jenin during his presence near the wall in Anin village and injured him in his hand adding that they severely beat him after shooting him.

The young man was taken to Khalil Suleiman Hospital in Jenin City.
