Three Palestinians injured by settlers in eastern Tubas

Monday 28-June-2021

Three Palestinian young men suffered injuries on Sunday evening when a horde of Jewish settlers attacked them in the east of Tayasir village east of Tubas in the occupied West Bank.

Medical sources said that the wounded young men were transferred to the Tubas Turkish Hospital for medical assistance.

The young men were identified as Hamad Jaber Laith Dabk and Amjad Wahdan.

Incidents of sabotage and violence by extremist Jewish settlers against Palestinians and their property are a daily occurrence in Palestinian areas.

Between 600000 and 750000 Jewish settlers live in more than 250 illegal settlements (130 official 120 unofficial) in the occupied Palestinian territories. Settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories are regarded as illegal under international law and by the majority of the international community.

The UN recently accused Israel of flagrantly violating international law by expanding settlements and allowing outposts in the occupied West Bank and east Jerusalem urging the new government of Naftali Bennett to halt all the settlement activity in the occupied Palestinian areas immediately.
