Palestinian news reports said that two resistance fighters and one child were killed when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) targeted a house with a missile and clashed with local youths in Nablus City on Tuesday morning.
The martyrs were identified as Ibrahim an-Nabulsi Islam Sabouh (resistance fighters) and 16-year-old Hussein Taha.
Earlier the Hebrew media affirmed that Ibrahim an-Nabulsi commander of al-Aqsa Brigades in Nablus was assassinated in an Israeli military operation in Nablus.
According to the local sources Israeli troops infiltrated on Tuesday morning into the eastern neighborhood of the Old City of Nablus exchanged fire with resistance fighters and fired one missile at a building.
Soon later widespread clashes broke out between local youths and Israeli soldiers during which the IOF intensively used live ammunition.
The Red Crescent for its part said that about 40 Palestinian citizens were wounded four of them seriously during clashes with the IOF in the Old City of Nablus.
The Red Crescent added that the IOF prevented its ambulance crews from providing medical assistance for many wounded citizens and opened fire at one of its ambulances.
In a separate incident the IOF kidnaped a number of Palestinian citizens during dawn raids on homes in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
In Nablus the IOF kidnaped senior Hamas official Ghanem Sawalmeh from his home in Askar al-Balad village.
The IOF also stormed Izbet al-Jarad area in Tulkarem and Husan village in Bethlehem and kidnaped two citizens from their homes.
The IOF stormed other areas of the West Bank and clashed with local youths in al-Arroub refugee camp with no reported arrests.
In east Jerusalem two teenagers were kidnaped from their homes during Israeli police raids on their homes in Issawiya district.
