At least three Palestinians have been killed on Monday evening while nine others were injured as Israeli fighter jets struck positions across the blockaded Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian Health Ministry identified the victims as Mohammed al-Tatri 27 and Mohammed Odeh 22 who were killed in the Israeli airstrikes that targeted the northern part of the Strip.
Mohammed al-Nahal 23 was also killed in an airstrike that targeted the eastern part of Rafah city in the southern Strip.
Along with the airstrikes Israeli artillery units shelled positions across the coastal enclave.
Nine other Palestinians were injured with missile shrapnel during airstrikes that targeted different positions in the Strip.
Artillery units near the Gaza-Israel buffer zone have reportedly targeted concentrations of Palestinian activists in central Gaza along with resistance positions in the town of Jabalia and the city of Deir al-Balah.
Israeli helicopter gunships meanwhile have also reportedly targeted several positions in southern Gaza.
