SALFIT (PIC)– IOF soldiers fired at a group of Palestinian citizens in the village of Eskaka north of Salfit in the West Bank wounding three of them during an incursion into that town on Saturday.
Local sources said that Palestinian youngsters threw stones at the IOF soldiers who retaliated by firing live bullets injuring the three whose wounds were described as moderate.
IOF units stormed the city of Nablus and Beit Al-Ma and Balata refugee camps at a late hour Saturday firing stun grenades and gas canisters at civilians.
Locals reported that the IOF patrols roamed the streets of those refugee camps accompanied by huge tractors amidst intensive firing.
They noted that similar night incursions were reported over the past few days in Nablus city and its refugee camps.
In the Gaza Strip the Nasser Salahuddin Brigades the armed wing of the popular resistance committees claimed responsibility for firing a Nasser-2 locally made missile at an Israeli Kibbutz adjacent to the Strip on Sunday morning.
The armed wing affirmed that the attack was filmed and that it was in response to the ceaseless IOF aggressions on the Palestinian people.
Meanwhile Palestinian sources in the Negev desert occupied since 1948 revealed that Israel was planning to flatten a number of mosques in the area.
The Aqsa society catering for Islamic Awkaf and holy shrines said that Israeli occupation authorities had demolished six mosques over the past few years.
It said that recently seven demolition notifications were glued on houses other than a mosque in Um Retam village charging that the plan targets wiping out Islamic landmarks in order to judaize the Negev.
