Three Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails have been on open-ended hunger strike for several days in protest at their administrative detention with no trial or indictment.
According to the Palestinian authority for prisoners and ex-prisoners the longest hunger-striking prisoner is Uday Shahada who has been on hunger strike for about 20 days in Ofer jail. He is from al-Deheisha refugee camp.
It added that the other prisoners are Fadi Ghunaimat on hunger strike for 19 days in Ofer jail and Mahmoud al-Saadi on hunger strike for 12 days in Hadarim jail. They are from Surif town and Jenin refugee camp respectively.
