The Palestinian health ministry on Monday reported three new deaths associated with COVID-19 (coronavirus) 2411 new positive tests and 558 recoveries in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip during the last 24 hours.
According to the ministry’s daily report one of the victims who died of the virus is from the West Bank and two from Gaza.
52 critically ill COVID-19 patients are also receiving intensive care in hospitals and five of them have been placed on ventilators.
In addition another 119 patients are receiving medical care in hospitals and special COVID-19 treatment centers in the West Bank.
93.8 percent of the total cases have recovered from the disease while the rate of active cases has reached 5.1 percent and the rate of deaths is 1.1 percent of the total cases according to data updated today by the ministry.
