The Palestinian health ministry on Wednesday reported three new deaths associated with COVID-19 (coronavirus) 719 new positive tests and 266 recoveries in the West Bank Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip during the last 24 hours.
According to the ministry’s daily report the new COVID-19 victims were identified as an 80-year-old man from al-Khalil province a 68-year-old woman from Nablus and a 53-year-old man from Bethlehem.
28 critically ill patients have also been admitted to intensive care units and five of them have been placed on ventilators.
67.2 percent of the total cases have recovered from the disease while the rate of active cases has reached 32.2 percent and the rate of deaths is 0.6 percent of the total cases.
19 of the recovered patients were recorded in Nablus province 120 in al-Khalil six in Tulkarem and 121 in Jerusalem.
