A group affiliated with al-Quds Brigades the armed wing of Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility for the fierce clashes with the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Sunday morning in Tubas City.
“We in the Tubas Squad announce the launch of our resistance action with these skirmishes that our fighters engaged in with the occupation forces. Some of their vehicles sustained damage in the clashes” the Tubas Squad said in a statement.
The Tubas Squad vowed to continue its struggle against the Israeli occupation until the achievement of victory and liberation.
This morning the Red Crescent said that two Palestinian young men were injured by live ammunition in their lower extremities during armed clashes with the IOF in Tubas City.
Two IOF vehicles reportedly sustained damage during the same clashes in the city.
