The Palestinian ministry of health announced on Wednesday that 12 deaths 10374 new cases of coronavirus were recorded during the past 24 hours.
The ministry said in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that 2172 recovery cases were recorded in the same period adding that seven deaths were recorded in the West Bank and five others in the Gaza Strip.
It pointed out that 80 critically ill patients were admitted to intensive care units while 188 others were being treated in the West Bank’s COVID-19 sections in various hospitals including 24 who have been placed on ventilators.
The recovery rate of the coronavirus reached 86.4 percent while the rate of active infections reached 12.7 percent and the death rate was 0.9 percent of all infections the ministry concluded.
