The Palestinian minister of health Mai al-Kaila announced on Tuesday that 12 deaths 11016 new cases of coronavirus were recorded during the past 24 hours.
The minister said in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that 3977 recovery cases were recorded in the same period adding that four deaths were recorded in the West Bank including a two-month-old baby girl and eight others in the Gaza Strip.
She pointed out that 82 critically ill patients were admitted to intensive care units while 173 others were being treated in the West Bank’s COVID-19 sections in various hospitals including 25 who have been placed on ventilators.
The recovery rate of the coronavirus reached 87.6 percent while the rate of active infections reached 11.5 percent and the death rate was 0.9 percent of all infections the minister concluded.
