Two Israeli soldiers injured in car-ramming incident in W. Bank

Two Israeli soldiers were injured on Wednesday morning when a Palestinian young man allegedly rammed his car into them at the Za’atara checkpoint in southern Nablus north of the occupied West Bank.

According to the Hebrew website 0404 a soldier and police officer were lightly wounded in the incident.

The young man has suffered serious bullet injuries when other soldiers rushed to the scene and opened fire at him.

The Israeli occupation police claimed the young man was shot by soldiers after he exited the vehicle and ran towards the officers with a knife.

Following the incident the Israeli occupation army and police spread on the roads in the area and embarked on restricting the movement of Palestinian vehicles and passengers and searching them.
