Two Israeli soldiers were injured on Tuesday evening in a suspected car-ramming attack at the Jalamah checkpoint to the north of Jenin city.
According to Hebrew sources one of the Israeli soldiers sustained a serious injury and was taken by a helicopter to an Israeli hospital while the other soldier’s injury was described as moderate.
The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) summoned reinforcements to the scene and arrested the one responsible for the vehicular attack.
The IOF prevented the ambulance crews from providing the necessary treatment for the injured Palestinian youth the Palestinian Red Crescent said.
