Two Palestinian youths were wounded on Friday when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) attacked the weekly demonstration in Kafr Qaddum village east of Qalqilya.
Activist Murad Shtewi said that the IOF heavily fired rubber-coated metal bullets tear gas canisters and stun grenades at the peaceful protesters injuring two of them.
Hundreds of Palestinian citizens and foreign peace activists marched in Kafr Qaddum after Friday prayer to take part in the weekly demonstration to call for opening the village’s main road that has been closed for 16 years in favor of the Israeli settlers living in a nearby settlement.
The demonstrators chanted slogans condemning the settlement and calling for escalating the Palestinian popular resistance.
