Two Palestinians killed 11 others injured by IOF gunfire in Jenin

Two Palestinians including a minor were killed and 11 others suffered bullet injuries on Saturday morning after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed Jenin refugee camp in the northern West Bank and encircled a house.

The Palestinian health ministry said that two young citizens were pronounced dead after they succumbed to serious bullet injuries adding that 11 others were also wounded and transferred to hospitals in Jenin.

Three of the wounded citizens are in critical condition according to medical sources.

The two martyrs were identified as Mohamed as-Sous 18 and Ahmed Daraghmeh 16.

Local sources said that the citizens were wounded after the IOF encircled a house in Jenin camp and clashed with resistance fighters and local youths.

They added that an IOF jeep sustained considerable damage after resistance fighters detonated explosive devices at it during the clashes.

Journalists and ambulances were reportedly denied access into the area of clashes in the camp.

The IOF also opened live ammunition directly at a group of journalists as they were trying to cover the events in Jenin camp.

One Palestinian young man identified as Saleh Abu Zina was kidnaped from his home in Jenin camp. The IOF claimed he was wanted and suspected of carrying out shooting operations against the Israeli army.
