The Palestinian health ministry on Thursday reported two new deaths associated with COVID-11 (coronavirus) 651 new positive tests and 875 recoveries in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip during the last 24 hours.
According to the ministry’s daily report the two victims are from the Gaza Strip.
55 critically ill COVID-19 patients are also receiving intensive care in hospitals and 13 of them have been placed on ventilators.
In addition another 114 patients are receiving medical care in hospitals and special COVID-19 treatment centers.
97.5 percent of the total cases have recovered from the disease while the rate of active cases has reached 1.4 percent and the rate of deaths is 1.1 percent of the total cases according to data updated today by the ministry.
