The Palestinian health ministry reported two deaths associated with COVID-19 (coronavirus) 259 new positive tests and 2667 recoveries in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip during the period between August 28 and September 4.
This came in a new COVID-19 situation report released on Monday by the Palestinian health ministry in Ramallah.
According to the report two deaths and 172 of the new COVID-19 cases are from Gaza while 87 other cases are from the West Bank.
During the reporting period nine COVID-19 patients were admitted to hospitals and four of them were in critical condition receiving treatment in intensive care units.
