The Palestinian ministry of health announced on Thursday that two deaths 528 new cases of the coronavirus were recorded during the past 24 hours.
The ministry said in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that 184 recovery cases were recorded in the same period adding that the two deaths were recorded in the West Bank.
It pointed out that 52 critically ill patients were admitted to intensive care units while 93 others were being treated in the West Bank’s COVID-19 sections in various hospitals including 19 who have been placed on ventilators.
The recovery rate of the coronavirus reached 98.2 percent while the rate of active infections reached 0.8 percent and the death rate was 1 percent of all infections the ministry concluded.
