The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip on Sunday announced that two coronavirus (COVID-19) cases have been detected in the enclave.
The ministry said in a brief statement that two Palestinians who have recently returned to the Gaza Strip through Erez crossing and remained in quarantine tested positive for coronavirus.
Active COVID-19 cases in the Gaza Strip have increased to five.
According to the Ministry of Health’s latest report 68 Palestinians with COVID-19 have recovered in Gaza and one died while there are five active cases receiving medical care at a hospital in southern Gaza.
