GAZA (PIC)– Two Palestinian resistance fighters were killed at noon Saturday during fierce armed clashes with Israeli occupation forces who tried to infiltrate into east of Jabaliya northern Gaza Strip.
Palestinian medical sources reported that the IOF troops blocked any medical staff from transferring the wounded fighters and left them bleeding for four hours to death but they managed after the Red Cross intervened to recover the bodies.
Local sources said that the resistance fighters were killed when the Israeli artillery opened fire directly at them.
Dr. Muawiya Hassanein the director of ambulance and emergency service in the health ministry had told the PIC that two resistance fighters called Mohamed Al-Hamayda and Jamil Qafa sustained different serious injuries that led to their death.
In a new development the Hebrew radio reported that a Palestinian woman was killed by IOF troops after she opened fire from a firearm at an Israeli military post at the crossroads of Shoket in Negev area in the 1948 occupied lands. The details of this attack and the identity of the woman are still unknown.
In retaliation to the ongoing Israeli attacks on the Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank the Brigades of Salahuddin the armed wing of the popular resistance committees claimed responsibility in a communiqué received by the PIC for firing at noon Saturday four mortar shells at the invading IOF troops east of Jabaliya northern Gaza.
