Thousands of Palestinians marched on Wednesday afternoon in the funeral of a Palestinian who was killed earlier by Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) during clashes in the Tamun town south of the northern occupied West Bank district of Tubas.
Muhammad Bisharat 23 was killed by Israeli live ammunition during clashes that erupted in Tamun town in the early dawn hours of Wednesday.
Three other Palestinians were injured with explosive bullets including two critical injuries.
The funeral processions began as Bisharat’s body arrived to his hometown Tamun.
The body was carried on shoulders towards Bisharat’s home in Tamun where final goodbyes were said before prayers took place at the town’s mosque and then burial at the town’s cemetery.
Meanwhile thousands of mourners attended the funeral of Palestinian protester who was shot dead by Israeli forces along Gaza border on Tuesday evening.
17-year-old Montaser al-baz succumbed to his critical wounds on Tuesday evening after he was shot and injured with live ammunition fired by Israeli forces towards dozens of Palestinians who rallied near the border to the east of Deir al-Balah area in central Gaza Strip.
Seven other protesters were also left critically injured during the attack.
Al-Baz’s body was carried by his friends and relatives from al-Aqsa Hospital to his family house in Nuseirat refugee camp before being taken to the nearby mosque for prayers and then to cemetery.
