The UN Human Rights Council has released a blacklist of 112 companies with activities in illegal Jewish settlements in the occupied West Bank.
According to different news reports this blacklist contains 94 companies based in Israel and 18 based in six other countries.
This list was released despite intense US pressure at the UN to prevent it from implementing a decision taken in 2016 to publish a blacklist of Israeli and international companies dealing with illegal settlements and contributing to perpetuating the occupation and settlement expansion.
