Violent confrontations erupted on Tuesday evening between Palestinian youths and the Israeli policemen who stormed Shu’fat refugee camp to the east of Occupied Jerusalem.
The Palestinian activist Thaer Fasfous said that large Israeli police forces broke into the camp from a gate in the separation wall in Ras Khamis neighborhood.
He added that the police raided the house of Fathi Abu Zir 70 and searched it before handing Abu Zir and his son an order to appear before the police for interrogation next Sunday.
No injuries were reported in the clashes that broke out between Palestinian youths and the Israeli police in the camp according to Fasfous.
The police forces stationed on rooftops randomly fired tear gas canisters and sound bombs at the Palestinian citizens’ houses during the raid.
