The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Saturday clashed with Palestinian young men after storming Qalqilya city in the West Bank and deployed barriers on roads in Tulkarem.
Local sources told Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that Israeli plain-clothes soldiers stormed at first the neighborhoods of Qar’aan and Naqqar in Qalqilya before others in uniform followed them later.
The sources added that violent clashes broke out between local youths in Qar’aan neighborhood.
The IOF also stormed Jayyous town east of Qalqilya and Shuweika neighborhood in Tulkarem with no reported arrests.
Several checkpoints and barriers were reportedly deployed on roads in different areas of Tulkarem areas.
