A cartoon video about Hadar Goldin the Israeli officer who is held captive by al-Qassam Brigades in Gaza Strip has become viral after being widely spread by Palestinian activists over the social media.
The short cartoon film shows Goldin in a dungeon holding a book in his hands while listening to a Jewish famous song called “My Dear Mother”.
The video conveys a symbolic message by demonstrating the Israeli captive in a nostalgic status while feeling the hope for being released in a future swap deal between Hamas Movement and Israeli occupation authorities.
The video was published after a campaign that was launched by the family of captive Goldin in which his brother asked the Israeli government not to meet the demands of Hamas Movement.
The cartoon video shows that the Israeli family has to choose whether to have their son released or to close his file as the case of Ron Arad the Israeli pilot who was captured in Lebanon in 1986 and his whereabouts were never known since then.
