Palestinian young men last night showered an Israeli military watchtower with Molotov cocktails near Awarta town south of Nablus.
According to local sources local youths threw several homemade fire bombs at the watchtower near the main entrance to Awarta town in southern Nablus starting fire in its vicinity.
Consequently the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at the youths but no one was reportedly hurt. They also intensified their presence in the area.
Such confrontations happen as a result of the daily attacks and raids that are carried out on a daily basis by the IOF and settlers on Palestinian citizens and their property in the West Bank.
