A report issued by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics shows that the wholesale prices in the West Bank increased by 1.62% in 2016 in comparison with 2015.
The report shows that the wholesale prices reached 125.63 points compared to 123.63 points in 2015. Local products’ rates grew by 2.67% while the prices of imported goods increased by 0.70% compared to 2015.
The general standard number of wholesale rates however went down by 2.28% during the fourth quarter of 2016 compared to the third quarter of the same year.
