Thursday 14-December-2006

KHAN YOUNIS (PIC)– The wife of judge Bassam Al-Farra who was killed while on his to his work in Ban Suhaila Islamic court on Wednesday morning has accused the PA preventive security apparatus of involvement in his murder.

She said that her husband was repeatedly threatened by elements of that apparatus which answers directly to PA chief Mahmoud Abbas. She also charged those elements of being the killers of Ghalban family the man and his pregnant wife a few months ago.

“The so-called security mess is a big lie” the wife asserted opining that those who cause the security mess have been “trained abroad”.

She expressed pride in her husband who is a well-known Islamic propagator and one of the Hamas armed wing’s field commanders and said that he is a martyr who was murdered at the hands of “treachery and agents to the Zionist entity”.

A group of unknown armed men on Wednesday assassinated the judge Farra the director of the guidance and social reformation department in Bani Suhaila court in Khan Younis while entering the court.

Meanwhile Khaled Abu Hilal the PA interior ministry spokesman affirmed that the security apparatuses have reached certain strings that would lead to those who assassinated Farra whom he described as “mercenaries”.

He explained in a press conference at the ministry that the security apparatuses would continue to chase those killers until they are brought to justice.

He did not rule out a connection between those who killed Farra and those who killed the three innocent children (all brothers) in Gaza city a few days earlier with the aim to spread chaos and ignite strife in the Palestinian arena.
