Israeli police forces launched on Wednesday a large-scale raid and arrest campaign in Occupied Jerusalem detaining 14 Palestinians including seven women and three minors.
Israeli forces carried out a violent arrest campaign in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood mainly near Al-Rawda Al-Haditha School.
A 14-year-old girl later identified as Nafuz Jad Hammad was among the reported arrests for allegedly carrying out a stabbing attack.
A teacher and the director of the school were also among the arrests.
Israeli police earlier rounded up five people including two minors one of whom is aged 15 after raiding their family homes in Isawiya neighborhood of Occupied Jerusalem.
On the other hand Israeli forces placed CCTV cameras in Salah El-Din Street located in the eastern part of Jerusalem in a move to assert more control over Palestinians’ movement in a flagrant violation of the freedom of movement.
