The Hamas Movement’s women sector staged a sit-in on Monday outside the European Gaza Hospital in Khan Younis province south of the Gaza Strip in protest at the inhumane blockade imposed on the population for about 10 years.
In a speech during the sit-in senior Hamas official Fatima Sharab said that the Gaza women rallied to condemn the siege and the arbitrary measures taken recently by Palestinian Authority chief Mahmoud Abbas against his own people in Gaza.
“Those who want to harm Gaza will suffer from dire consequences and Gaza will remain steadfast despite all attempts to subjugate and humiliate it because it is an incubator for the resistance” Sharab said.
She stressed that the people of Gaza chose the path of freedom dignity and liberation adding that Gaza would remain fine and protected by the loyalty of its young people women children and elders.
