Palestinian mourners in Jericho east of the West Bank marched on Thursday in the funeral procession of Yasin Saradeeh who was shot and killed by Israeli occupation forces (IOF) nearly a month ago.
The funeral started from the Grand Mosque in Jericho and headed towards the cemetery.
According to the the Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs Commission an autopsy revealed that Saradeeh died from a live bullet shot by an IOF soldier at a point-blank range.
The autopsy revealed that the bullet entered Saradeeh’s lower abdomen causing an internal bleeding and the rupture of the artery and the vein before exiting from his back.
On February 22 IOF brutally attacked Saradeeh in his house in Jericho before being arrested. Few hours later he was proclaimed dead.
