The Popular International Committee for Supporting Gaza has said that the policy of mass punishment that is used by Israel against the Palestinians will only increase their determination to continue their struggle for freedom and liberation.
In press remarks on Saturday head of the committee Esam Yousuf affirmed that Israel’s systematic demolition of Palestinian homes in the West Bank and Jerusalem would never dissuade the Palestinians from resisting the occupation and restoring their usurped rights.
“The Israeli occupation has tried the mass punishment policy against the Palestinian people in all areas of their presence and the most obvious example of this policy is the unjust siege on the Gaza Strip which has been ongoing for about 12 years” Yousuf stated.
“The occupation state has to look into the history and draw lessons from it. The Nazis had killed millions through their racist practices and the wars they waged in Europe but they disappeared irrevocably” he said.
“The will of the Palestinian people will not be broken…they will continue to confront the tyranny of the occupation with revolutions until they extract their rights and freedom” he added.
