The leader in Hamas Movement Mahmoud al-Zahhar revealed Tuesday that his group is preparing to hold new meetings with Egyptian officials in Cairo.
In a workshop held in Gaza city Zahhar stressed that relations between Hamas and Egypt were never severed.
A delegation of Hamas Movement is scheduled to head to Cairo following the end of Islamic Jihad delegation’s visit to Egypt he pointed out.
He stressed the importance of trade exchange between Egypt and Gaza noting that Egypt is going to activate this issue.
Hamas also seeks the release of the four Gazan youths who were kidnapped after crossing the Rafah border terminal while on their way to Cairo he underlined.
On the other hand the senior leader in Hamas Movement called for holding general elections as soon as possible and for supporting resistance option.
