Three Palestinian homes and a workshop destroyed by Israeli airforce

Gaza – For the second night running the Israeli airforce continued to target Palestinian homes in Gaza Strip towns. Three homes and a workshop were destroyed on Thursday night in four separate air raids.

Occupation authorities close Rafah crossing continues to close Abu Salem

Rafah – The Israeli occupation authorities closed down on Thursday the Rafah crossing in both directions. Gaza's only gateway to the outside world was open Tuesday and Wednesday allowing thousands of stranded passengers to cross into and out of the Gaza Strip.

Palestinian government welcomes European initiative Israel rejects it

Gaza – The Palestinian government welcomed in principle the European initiative for a peaceful resolution of the Middle East conflict and registered a number of questions with regard to the initiative. Israel on the other hand rejected the initiative and considered it to be hasty.

Detained ministers and lawmakers assaulted by Israeli prison officers

Ramallah – Prison guards in large numbers broke into cells of detained ministers and lawmakers Thursday at dawn in Nitsan prison and subjected them to humiliating searches according to a defense lawyer.

IOF arrest Zeitawi after a six-hour siege

Tulkarem – The IOF held a massive military operation Thursday afternoon in the northern district of Tulkarem which ended in capturing Muhammad al-Zeitawi a commander of the Aqsa Martyrs Brigades after partially destroying a house during a six hour siege.

Zahhar: Iran contributed 120 million US Dollars and promised more

Tehran – Dr. Mahmoud al-Zahhar the PA Foreign Minister told reporters in Tehran on Thursday that the Iranian government have already contributed 120 million US Dollars to the Palestinian government and promised more aid.

Palestinian Prime Minister Ismael Haniya told the newly-launched Al-Jazeera International English TV channel (IJI) Wednesday night that the Israeli occupation of Palestine was the mother of all troubles and instability in the Middle East and much of the world.

IOF troops round up 29 Palestinians

Al-Khalil - IOF troops at dawn Thursday rounded up ten Palestinians in Al-Khalil district and in Qabatia town Jenin district while 19 others were arrested in other West Bank areas in line with the IOF daily arrests of Palestinian West Bankers.

Gaza - The Arab foreign ministers' decision a few days ago to break the siege imposed on the Palestinian people was not apparently activated yet as two Palestinian MPs had to bring with them cash in their bags into the Gaza Strip on Wednesday.

Inter-Palestinian talks in presence of PA chief

Gaza - The Hamas-Fatah dialogue is expected to resume in Gaza on Thursday evening after two days of interruption in the presence of PA chief Mahmoud Abbas and premier Ismail Haneyya with the discussions expected to focus on naming ministers in the new unity government.
