This is not the first time Israel adopts decidedly-racist policies and issues manifestly racist laws that fly in the face of humanity and civility.
In fact Israel has always behaved this way and in full view of the international community. And almost in every case the Jewish state had its way and got away with impunity.
Indeed from the very inception of the Zionist enterprise in Palestine Israel perpetrated every conceivable crime under the sun while pretending to be the victim.
Thus Israel arrogated Palestine from its legitimate owners massacred untold number of Palestinians destroyed their homes bulldozed their fields and expelled hundreds of thousands to the four winds-all that while calling its victims terrorists.
A few months ago Israel carried out a real holocaust in the Gaza Strip destroying as many as 80000 houses. American-supplied F-15s and F-16s dropped thousands of 1-ton bombs on apartment buildings packed with terrified civilians killing and maiming thousands of innocent men women and children.
All of this occurred in full view of the world which did virtually nothing to rein-in Israel’s Nazi-like criminality.
On the contrary the United States Israel’s guardian-ally reiterated its characteristically immoral position that Israel had the right to defend itself and protect its citizens. Not once did the unethical American government declare that the Palestinians too had the right to defend themselves and protect their children. This is the very country that John Winthrop’s envisioned as “a Shining City upon a Hill with the eyes of all people upon us so that if we deal falsely with God in this work we have undertaken and so cause Him to withdraw His present help from us we shall be made a story and a byword throughout the world.”
I don’t know what John Winthrop would say were he to watch the way successive American administrations have been dealing with the Palestinian cause supporting and enabling Israel to torment and try to exterminate a people whose only guilt is being a non-member of the “holy tribe”.
And Now
Today Israel has formally declared herself a racist Jewish state despite the fact that at least 50% of Israel’s and the occupied territories’ inhabitants are non-Jews.
Without making a short story unnecessarily long a Jewish state means that non-Jews in Israel are by law second-class citizens whose very existence is precarious and far from assured or secured.
Yes there is a cosmetic addition designed to deceive the gullible e.g. the Americans and like-minded westerners. That is the addition of the word “democratic” following the word Jewish. But how can Israel be Jewish and democratic at the same time? This is an eternal oxymoron.
We know and much of the world knows that in case there is the slightest incompatibility between things Jewish and things democratic which overrides which and which comes first.
That is why we need to deal with this matter with the honesty and rectitude it deserves. A Jewish state (Israel is yet to agree on a specific definition of who a Jew is) is the exact opposite of a democratic state. Israel simply cannot be a true democracy and a Jewish theocracy at the same time especially when the Jewish Halacha or religious law views non-Jews as quasi-humans or beasts whose life have no sanctity.
I don’t know what the next step will be. Will Israel give its non-Jewish citizens an ultimatum: convert to Judaism or leave?
I am convinced that the man at the White House knows perfectly well the truth about this brash and brazen racism. He knows it very well. But he is too cowardly to do anything about it. The same thing is true about Congress. It is too subjugated by Jewish money so much so that a senator or Congressman or congresswoman contemplating calling the spade a spade in matters pertaining to Israel and the Palestinians would be effectively committing a political suicide. Remember Cynthia McKinney.
Unfortunately Europe more or less doesn’t fare any better. Some major European countries like Germany would give Israel the benefit of the doubt irrespective of what Israel does. Even if the Jewish state copied all Nazi rules and laws Berlin would still support Israel. Germany simply doesn’t give a damn as long as Arabs and Muslims pay the price for the holocaust.
A last word
The U.S. Germany and similar countries probably think they are doing the right thing by supporting Israel-right or wrong. But they are wrong in thinking so. They are actually pushing Israel down the cliff.
It is also sad that the bulk of Jews are inebriated by their arrogance and insolence which makes them adopt a policy based on military might and devoid of morality and justice. It is lamentable that a people who call themselves “God’s chosen people” behave as such.
