Raed Yousef Al-Liddawi and his wife Iman Naji are a well-known couple for their morals and good conduct as a Gazan family living in the Gaza Strip which has been besieged by its enemy as well as its neighbors.
Not long ago the couple celebrated the arrival of their first granddaughter to join the ranks of grandparents and were so happy to hear the title of grandfather and grandmother from their grandchild.
Yet instead of celebrating those joyful moments death was so close and quick to take their lives along with Yousef’s second wife Latifa Jaber who was of no less morals. The three of them have been killed along with six of their children in the Israeli heinous attacks.
Those who have known martyr Yousef say that he was a kindhearted man with forgiving and tolerating personality with his smiling face and sense of humor relieving the burden of difficult days.
Yousef along with his brothers was the owner of Dar Al-Manara Library until he was separated from his brothers to be killed in the Israeli atrocious aggression on Gaza as he refused to move out towards the south despite relentless bombardment.
As for Iman she was known for her kindness and being a compassionate mother-in-law. The family though did not have enough time to create happy memories as they have left this life on October 23.
Since October 7 Israel has been waging a heinous genocide via air ground and sea attacks on the besieged Gaza Strip resulting in more than 40000 martyrs wounded and missing people.
