Satellite images captured between October 24 and November 12 this year reveal extensive demolition of buildings and land clearing, along with vegetation fires in northern Gaza.

The images indicate systematic demolitions in the Jabalia refugee camp, where the Israeli occupying forces destroyed the Jabalia market and a residential block in the Qassasib neighborhood, alongside a heavy presence of military vehicles in the area.

The images also reveal land clearing and building demolitions in the eastern part of the camp, as well as widespread destruction in the Beit Lahiya project area, accompanied by a significant military presence.

Israeli occupying forces are imposing a suffocating blockade on northern Gaza, targeting anyone attempting to bring water or operate wells in the region amid severe shortages of food, water, medicine, and fuel. The blockade prevents humanitarian aid and drinking water trucks from reaching northern Gaza, exacerbating the suffering of its residents.

Dozens of bodies remain scattered in homes and streets, particularly in Jabalia camp, with no one able to retrieve them due to the catastrophic conditions. Injured individuals are still trapped in their homes, unable to reach hospitals for treatment.

Israeli forces have cut off northern Gaza from the city of Gaza using military vehicles, supported by drone cover, increasing the suffering of residents and obstructing any humanitarian aid.

On October 5, the Israeli army launched a ground invasion in northern Gaza, claiming it was to “prevent Hamas from regaining strength in the area.” However, on-the-ground data and testimonies from survivors indicate that the army is effectively reoccupying northern Gaza and turning it into a buffer zone after forcibly displacing its residents, under continuous deadly bombardment and a strict blockade preventing the entry of food, water, and medicine.

With U.S. support, the Israeli occupation has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, resulting in over 147,000 Palestinian casualties, most of whom are children and women, and more than 10,000 missing persons. This has led to immense destruction and famine, claiming the lives of dozens of children and the elderly, marking one of the worst humanitarian disasters in the world.
