Gaza: One Year in Darkness

GAZA, (PIC)

For over a year, Gaza has lived without light or hope.

Israeli forces targeted the power, leaving millions in pitch-black despair.

70% of Gaza’s power networks are destroyed, beyond repair.

Electricity meters—more than 235,000—gone, cutting homes off from life.

The war turned power stations into rubble, leaving darkness everywhere.

Power lines, stretching over 3,500 kilometers, reduced to twisted metal.

Hospitals, schools, and homes—all left without the energy to survive.

Thousands of transformers, key to life, vanished under the bombs.

Vehicles, tools, and equipment—82% lost, paralyzing any recovery.

Warehouses holding the city’s future—obliterated, nothing left behind.

For an entire year, Gaza waited in darkness, hoping for light.

But the light hasn’t come.

The people are still waiting, still hoping.
