Member of Hamas’s political bureau Ezzat al-Resheq has condemned Israeli foreign minister Yisrael Katz’s call for dealing with the occupied West Bank like the Gaza Strip as “fascist” and “aimed at expanding the circle of destruction and genocide.”
“Katz’s remarks clearly reflect Zionist insistence on violating the international law and the immunity the terrorist Zionist leaders have from accountability and punishment for their crimes against humanity,” Resheq said in a statement on Wednesday.
The Hamas official called on the international community and the UN to work immediately to end the immunity and protection provided by the US administration for Israeli war criminals and take legal action against them at the International Criminal Court.
