The Hamas Movement has condemned the terror attack in Pakistan’s southwestern province of Balochistan that killed and injured dozens of people.
In a statement on Saturday, Hamas expressed its solidarity with the Pakistani government and people in this ordeal and offered its condolences to the families of the victims in particular and the Pakistani people in general.
The Movement asked Allah Almighty to bestow his mercy upon the victims and wished a speedy recovery for the wounded.
At least 26 people have been killed and more than 60 wounded in a bombing at a crowded railway station in Pakistan’s restive Balochistan province, according to police and health officials.
The explosion on Saturday happened as nearly 100 passengers waited on a platform at about 8:45 a.m. local time in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan, for a train to Peshawar, according to Al Jazeera satellite channel.
More than a dozen soldiers and six railway employees were among the dead at the station and 62 people were wounded — many of them were in critical condition.
