The Palestinian Forum in Britain (PFB) is following with deep concern the dangerous military escalation launched by Israeli occupation forces against Gaza, which has resulted in the martyrdom and injury of hundreds, including many children and women. This renewed aggression began in the early hours of Tuesday morning, following a nearly two-month pause.
“The resumption of this assault comes after the occupation authorities reneged on all previously agreed ceasefire terms and imposed new conditions without reciprocation, demonstrating their ongoing hostile intentions towards our Palestinian people,” the PFB statement said.
The Palestinian Forum in Britain strongly condemns these horrific crimes committed by the Israeli war machine against our resilient people and affirms the following:
- We call upon the Arab and Islamic nations, as well as all free people around the world, to take to the streets in massive protests, rejecting Zionist crimes and expressing unwavering solidarity with our people in Gaza.
- We urge international mediators and the Arab states that sponsored the ceasefire agreement to intervene immediately and exert pressure on the occupying power to end the war and adhere to the agreed terms of de-escalation.
“Finally, we reaffirm that the Palestinian people will remain steadfast in the face of aggression, holding firmly to their legitimate rights. No matter how brutal the Zionist war machine becomes, it will not break their resolve. To the occupiers and their allies, we say: the will of the people cannot be crushed, and the dawn of freedom is inevitable,” the PFB statement concluded.
