MP finally able to cross borders after IOA blockage

BETHLEHEM (PIC)– MP Khaled Tafesh on Wednesday managed to cross into Jordan and headed directly to the Amman airport en route to Indonesia to attend a conference for Islamic parliamentarians.

Tafesh’s office director said that the lawmaker crossed the borders into Jordan without any Israeli obstacle this time.

He explained that the legislator headed to the borders a couple of days earlier but the IOA blocked his travel and told him he was banned from traveling abroad.

However Tafesh’s lawyer told him that he would be allowed exit on Wednesday which actually what happened.

Tafesh is expected to embark on a tour of a number of countries after the conference that would take him first to Saudi Arabia his office director said adding that he would confer with parliamentarians and ask them to pressure their governments into lifting the siege on the Palestinian people.

Tafesh would be a member in a delegation also grouping the ministers of public works and woman affairs in addition to two other MPs and officials of both ministries.
