The Islamic resistance movement Hamas called on the human rights organizations to immediately interfere to save the lives of the Palestinian detainees Anas Shadid and Ahmed Abu Fara who have been on a hunger strike for 85 days in a protest against their administrative detention.
In a press statement on Monday the Movement held the Israeli government responsible for the detainees’ lives and said that the Israeli court’s order to force-feed them contradicts the humanitarian laws and international resolutions which the Israeli government blatantly disregards.
The Movement stressed the need to support this just case on the official factional and public levels until the two detainees win their legitimate right in ending their administrative detention.
