Dato’ Ku Jaafar the Malaysian ambassador to Egypt reached Gaza through Rafah crossing on the first day of opening the border terminal by the Egyptian authorities.
According to the PIC reporter political and local figures received the Malaysian ambassador who arrived in Gaza heading a four-member delegation.
The delegation’s 3-day visit aims at opening a number of projects he added.
“The humanitarian situation in Gaza is very difficult and needs strong efforts to improve it” said the Malaysian ambassador who is also accredited to Palestine.
“We will work on supporting the Gaza Strip in every possible way” said Jaafar while stressing that Malaysia will continue establishing projects in the coastal enclave.
