The Israeli occupation authorities on Monday banned a Palestinian family from visiting their jailed son who is currently serving 27 years in an Israeli prison.
A PIC news correspondent said the Israeli occupation soldiers deployed at the Jalama checkpoint to the northeast of Jenin prevented the al-Bazour family from Jenin’s eastern village of al-Mugheir from visiting their son Hassan serving a 27-year-sentence in the Israeli Hadarim jail.
The IOA slapped a seven-month ban on al-Bazour’s sisters and parents and rescinded their visit permits without identifying the reasons.
The family appealed to all humanitarian and human rights institutions to take urgent action and work on restoring their right to visit their jailed sibling so as to follow up on his fate.
