IOF orders eviction of 12 Jordan Valley families for military drills

Monday 14-November-2016

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Monday ordered 12 families in the Khirbet Ibzeiq area in the northern Jordan Valley to evacuate their homes to make way for Israeli military drills.

A PIC news correspondent said the Israeli occupation army informed 12 Palestinian families setting up roots in Khirbet Ibzeiq they needed to leave their homes on Monday and Tuesday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. in order for the Israeli army to carry out military drills there.

Palestinian residents of the Jordan Valley regularly face evacuations to Israeli military exercises on or near their land.

Ibzeiq natives have become the permanent target of Israeli assaults and abrupt eviction order as part of a preplanned Israeli scheme of ethnic cleansing.

On a permanent basis the Israeli occupation army reportedly orders Palestinian Bedouins to leave their homes so as to make way for live-fire maneuvers in Khirbet Izeiq a home to 38 Bedouin families comprising 256 members.

Observes warned that Israeli military drills in the Jordan Valley and the repeated house demolitions make part of an Israeli strategy to empty the land of Palestinians and confiscate it for further settlement expansion and agricultural production.
