Member of Hamas’s political bureau Fathi Hammad has belittled the claim made by Israeli war minister Avigdor Lieberman that the next war on Gaza would be the last describing it as a “hollow threat.”
Hammad made his remarks during a memorial service held on Wednesday for a martyr from al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas who died recently in a tunnel collapse in Gaza.
The Hamas official also stressed that Lieberman’s war threat would never intimidate the Palestinian resistance in Gaza adding that the Israeli minister and his government did not take cues from previous wars.
He urged al-Qassam Brigades to make more preparations and plans to surprise the Israeli occupation army affirming that the resistance’s rockets could reach any area of the occupied territories.
