Hamas slammed on Sunday evening Fatah movement for turning its back on national reconciliation and replacing PA government ministers with Fatah affiliates.
Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri said in a press statement that the Palestinian Authority’s premier Rami al-Hamdallah has been turning blind eyes and deaf ears to the cries for help launched by Gazans.
He further denounced al-Hamdallah’s partisan behavior and biased position as regards Hamas-affiliated officials.
“Al-Hamdallah is acting as a Fatah leader rather than a prime minister for a government of national consensus” said Abu Zuhri.
In its latest round the Palestinian Legislative Council issued instructions to form a new government makeup and appoint Ismail Haneyya to the position of Gaza’s representative after al-Hamdallah’s cabinet failed to take up its responsibilities vis-à-vis the besieged enclave.
